Steps to prepare saffron milk for pregnant women: Boil half a cup of milk. After 5 minutes, or say when the milk is little warm, crush 2 Kesar strands in your hands and then add to the milk. Keep this Kesar milk aside. Next boil the remaining milk, and then add 1 tsp sugar to it. Turn the gas off and then add the Kesar milk (with strand). Mix properly and serve.
